FREE SOFTWARE UPGRADE FOR ECT 9090 TESTER PRODUCES 400% GAIN IN ELECTRICAL SPEED

Pomona, CA, February 12, 1996 - The latest version of the Viper II" software for Everett Charles Technologies' 9090 Series grid testers has achieved an electrical test cycle speed of 1-second per test on typical boards. This represents a 400% gain in electrical test speed, and, combined with the fast mechanical action of the 9090 Series pneumatic actuator reflects a significant increase in throughput. The software is offered at no cost to all 9090 Series users, and can be downloaded directly to the tester via ECT's proprietary ECTLink" program.
