Pomona, CA, February 20, 1996 - Everett Charles Technologies has been awarded U.S. Patent Number 5,493,230 for its unique ValuGrid fixture concept for bareboard testing. The patent covers the innovative design which utilizes a latex material for test pin retention and significantly increases the achievable test pin densities and fine pitch probing. ValuGrid fixtures can be built with 3.00" or 3.75" pins for use on ECT 9090 testers. The fixture system features QwikStat" tiered spacers and numbered plates that convert a labor-intensive process into a much simpler assembly routine which also yields a more accurate fixture. Speed pins for board placement and gutter pins for the HyperSort" unloader/sorter module can be installed on the top plate
