Pomona, CA, March 29, 1996 - Herco of San Diego, California has accepted delivery of a second new 9090 Series Universal Grid Test System with HyperSort" Unloader Sorter module. Decreased fixturing costs and increased throughput were the key factors in the purchasing decision.

The HyperSort unloader automatically removes a tested board from the fixture on a 9090 Series grid tester and then sorts passed/failed boards by placing them on separate elevator stacks, eliminating operator induced escapes. The system can virtually double the already high throughput of the 9090 grid test system.
