NEW FULLY AUTOMATIC LOADING MODULE FOR THE 9090 SERIES GRID TEST SYSTEM INTRODUCED BY EVERETT CHARLES TECHNOLOGIES
Pomona, CA, December 11, 1995... A new, fully automatic board loading module designed for use with the 9090 Universal Grid Test System with HyperSort" has been introduced by Everett Charles Technologies, Test Equipment Division. The HyperLoad" plug-in module combined with the 9090 Grid tester and HyperSort creates a fully automatic test system (load-test-unload/sort).

The HyperLoad board pick-up mechanism loads untested boards, one at a time, from an elevator stack on the specially designed service cart; then places them on the 9090 fixture tooling pins for automatic test. The board is then unloaded and sorted into "pass"/"fail" stacks by the HyperSort unloader/sorter module. Special features of the HyperLoad include quick installation via a single-point pneumatic latching system, availability as a retrofitable upgrade to ECT 9090 Grid testers, quick conversion to manual mode is controlled by pressing one button, and an easy to use touch-screen with graphical user interface.
