EVERETT CHARLES TECHNOLOGIES ACQUIRES CIRCUITEST

POMONA, CA, October 3, 1997 Everett Charles Technologies (ECT), a leading manufacturer of bare and loaded PCB test fixtures, Pogo® contacts, and bare board automated test equipment (ATE), announces the acquisition of Circuitest, based in Hudson, New Hampshire.

Circuitest, established in 1986, is a major supplier of interconnect substrate test services and products. Circuitests test solutions cover a range of interconnect substrates such as printed circuit boards, MCMs, large and complex pinned backplanes, flex circuits and ultra fine pitch substrates in various sizes and base materials.

Circuitests executive management team, which includes Ray Cronin, Duane Delfosse, and Doug Olander, will remain in essentially the same roles to continue their tradition of applying technology to the electrical test process. Circuitest operations located in Hudson, NH; San Jose, CA; Newport Beach, CA; and Worthing, West Sussex, UK will continue to service new and existing customers.
