Everett Charles Technologies Opening New Manufacturing Facility in Hungary |
Pomona, California, September 6, 2001 - Everett Charles Technologies announced today that it plans to open a new 6,500 square-foot test fixture production facility in Hungary in September 2001. The facility is designed to significantly increase Everett Charles Technologies' current manufacturing capacity in Eastern Europe, and also will permit overflow from other European operations, reducing lead times. The business expansion will accommodate increasing demand for test fixtures in the European marketplace. Initially, the new facility will manufacture partial fixture customization and rework. By the end of 2001, full quote, design and build capability will be in place. "We have been experiencing significant growth in the European market for all of our products. Our Hungarian facility is ideally located to support the emerging Eastern European business, and is a perfect gateway to future business regions further east," said David Andrew, General Manager of European Fixture Operations. "The new facility will be completely integrated into our manufacturing process." Everett Charles Technologies, a subsidiary of Dover Corporation, is a leading manufacturer of electrical test products and services, including semiconductor test products, bare-board automatic test systems, PogoÒ test contacts, and bare and loaded PCB test fixtures.
