TYCO ELECTRONICS PURCHASES A2/16 FLYING PROBE TEST SYSTEM FROM ECT

Pomona, CA, August 10, 2004 – The Printed Circuits Group of Tyco Electronics, located in Dallas, OR, has announced the purchase of an atg A2/16 high-speed, flying probe test system from Everett Charles Technologies (ECT). The A2/16 was chosen because it gives Tyco the ability to test challenging circuit boards at a high rate of throughput, providing a major reduction in fixture build. This is the sixth test system Tyco has purchased from ECT. Additionally, ECT will provide a service package that includes complete hardware and software service support.
