PATRICK T. FLYNN NAMED PRESIDENT OF EVERETT CHARLES TECHNOLOGIES

Pomona, CA, May 23, 2005 – Everett Charles Technologies (ECT) announced today that Patrick T. Flynn, President of ECT's Capital Equipment and Services Group and Semiconductor Test Group, has been named President of ECT. Flynn succeeds David R. Van Loan, who was recently appointed President of Dover Technologies (DTI), the parent company of ECT. Van Loan will remain the CEO of ECT during his transition to DTI. In this new role Flynn will continue to report to Van Loan and it is expected he will succeed Van Loan as the ECT CEO as well. The presidents of the six ECT business groups will report directly to Flynn.

Flynn joined ECT in 2000 as the Group Vice President and subsequent President of the Capital Equipment and Services Group which consists of several companies supplying test equipment and services to the printed circuit board industry. He was later appointed President of the Semiconductor Test Group as well which supplies consumables to the semiconductor fabrication and package industry. During this time Flynn has been instrumental in the development of several new market leading products and in ECT's expansion into Asia, specifically China. Under his direction these companies have developed and introduced the current market leading quad-density universal grid system, and the fastest and only sixteen head flying probe tester. Flynn spearheaded ECT's expansion into China when he established wholly owned ECT operations in Suzhou and Shenzhen serving as the cornerstone for all ECT activities in this strategic market.

Flynn was the first American to receive a Marcus Wallenburg Fellowship to attend the Sloan School of Business, earning a Masters of Science in Management in 1986. He received an earlier undergraduate degree at St. Thomas College in Kenmore, Washington. A native of Seattle, Flynn now resides with his family in Irvine, California.
