Pomona, CA, February 20, 1996 - Everett Charles Technologies has been awarded U.S. Patent Number 5,493,230 for its unique ValuGrid® fixture concept for bareboard testing. The patent covers the innovative design which utilizes a latex material for test pin retention and significantly increases the achievable test pin densities and fine pitch probing. ValuGrid® fixtures can be built with 3.00" or 3.75" pins for use on ECT 9090 testers. The fixture system features QwikStat" tiered spacers and numbered plates that convert a labor-intensive process into a much simpler assembly routine which also yields a more accurate fixture.
