Pomona, California, February 8, 2001- Everett Charles Technologies has announced the promotion of Michael Elsässer to European Sales Manager for Pogo® contacts and test fixtures. Elsässer has been with the company for 3½ years in the role of Regional European Sales Manager. "Michael has been a major contributor to the growth of both the test fixture and contact product business in continental Europe. His pioneering efforts have opened up accounts in both emerging markets and existing channels," states Phil Emard, VP Sales/Manufacturing.

Elsässer assumes his position immediately, reporting to Phil Emard, Vice President Sales/Manufacturing for Contact Products and Gary St. Onge, Vice President, Test Fixture Group. In his new position, he will be responsible for sales in the European markets including the UK and will also be responsible for the EC Munich Contact Products distribution hub. "Establishing a unified Contact Products sales and distributor effort in Germany will significantly strengthen our position in this market", states Phil Emard, VP Sales/Manufacturing.

Elsässer holds a Masters degree (Dipl.-Ing-FH.) in Mechanical Engineering /Power Engineering from the "Fachhochschule für Technik", located in Esslingen (Germany).
