Upgrade additions such as improved support for combination Grid and Prober test, the addition of automatic and/or manual control of test coverage, and comprehensive on-line help, continue to advance the capability of this powerful software tool. MagicSuite 5.3 also features expanded support for atg testers to include Exaline Series 1 and larger format automated testers, as well as MD4 quad density grid. The powerful Windows® NT programs are offered in two versions: MAGIC SUITE ValuGrid® for ECT and atg testers and MAGIC SUITE" Universal for other test platforms. The Universal package customizes fixtures for specific ATE models and guides the designer through user-configurable automatic processing steps. This program also creates fixtures for special-purpose systems including dedicated and hybrid grid technologies.
