The ECT µHPC/PL contactor provides a high yield, high volume, production-proven test solution for peripherally leaded integrated circuit packages. The conductive path of the µHPC/PL is provided by a combination of cantilevered micro-beam contact leads and Surface Mount Matrix (SMM). The mirco-beam contact leads provide the necessary compliance and contact force, while the SMM provides the surface-mount connection to the board.
