JOB TITLE: Test Engineer

I. BASIC FUNCTION

Responsible for NPI, new test fixture introductions, ECO Implementations to both fixtures and software. Responsible to oversee the upkeep and maintenance of all test equipment. The ideal candidate will have good ICT test fixture knowledge. Works in a safe and quality oriented manner as part of a team.

II. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

High School graduate. 1-2 years of ICT experience. In-Circuit test fixture knowledge. NPI experience preferred. Good communications skills. Knowledge of standard hand tools and measure devices such as multi-meters. Basic math skills and the ability to read and interpret simple mechanical drawings.

III. STANDARD ADMINISTRATIVE REQUIREMENTS

LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situation to customers, and other employees of the organization.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.

REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, and diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situation.
