JOB TITLE: Fixture Assembler A
I. BASIC FUNCTION
Perform basic to complex mechanical assembly tasks. To follow documented and verbal instructions, interface with departments, and lead as a situation requires.
II. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or equivalent and one year minimum experience at Fixture Assembler B level or equivalent.
III. RESPONSIBILITIES
- Final assembly and test of all levels of test fixtures.
- Final QC of all levels of test fixtures.
- Trouble shoot and repair mechanical and minor electrical problems with all levels of test fixtures.
- Lead Assembly department as required by assembly lead person or supervisor.
IV. STANDARD ADMINISTRATIVE REQUIREMENTS
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situation to customers, and other employees of the organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, and diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situation.
