Essential Performance Requirements
Overview of General Duties and Requirement:
Perform basic wiring and assembly to assorted test fixtures.
Essential Performance Requirements (EPRs)
1. By the 15th day, the person must be able to properly log on and off the tracking system.
2. By the 15th day, the person must be able to consistently and properly install probes at the minimum rate of 300 probes per hour by hand.
3. By the 30th day, the person must be able to consistently wire at a minimum rate of 100 wire connections per hour (50 single wires) on the standard wire wrap machine.
4. By the 45th day, the person must be able to set up any standard fixture and interface combination on the standard wire wrap machine.
5. By the 90th day, the person must be able to consistently wire at a minimum rate of 150 wire connections per hour (75 single wires) on the standard wire wrap machine.
6. By the 90th day, the person must be able to consistently wire at a minimum rate of 250 wires per hour on the EC1 wire wrap machine.
7. By the 90th day, the person must be able to perform the above mentioned wiring tasks with a maximum error rate not to exceed 1% (# of errors / # of wires).

Skills/Aptitude
A. Possess the ability to follow instructions in order to perform the tasks of wire wrapping, soldering and crimping of wires for all types of fixtures.
B. Follow instructions and a schedule for priority of work to be performed
C. Responsible to set receptacles to proper heights and install probes, per instructions from a lead or supervisor
