JOB TITLE: PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR
I. BASIC FUNCTION
Supervise Manufacturing Department consisting of one or more departments.
II. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Associate degree, or equivalent, in a Manufacturing field. Minimum of 5 years related manufacturing experience and a minimum of 3 years of Supervisory experience. Electrical and Mechanical experience in a Quality Assurance environment. Electrical and mechanical aptitude, basic math skills, the ability to read prints, communication and PC skills and the ability to work in a fast paced manufacturing environment.
III. RESPONSIBILITIES

A. Oversee product flow through Manufacturing.

B. Meet product schedules and ensure product quality.

C. Conform to ISO9000 procedures.

D. Interview, recommend, hire, train, evaluate and discipline employees.

E. Willingness to accept varied job responsibilities.
IV. STANDARD MANUFACTURING REQUIREMENTS
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to communicate with supervisors and employees.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
