JOB TITLE: Driller C

I. BASIC FUNCTION
   Set-up and operation of the Excellon CNC Drill to drill and route fixture plates, ground planes and plots as required for fixutre customization.

II. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
    High School Diploma or equivalent. One year machine shop background with experience in use of standard measuring instruments including calipers, hole gauges and scales. Basic math skills and ability to read dimensional mechanical drawings.

III. RESPONSIBILITIES
A. Reads and interprets written job instructions (Traveler) to drill and/or route fixture plates, gound planes, plots and molds for Level I fixtures.

B. Loads programs for LAN-Network, sets-up job material, selects, inputs and installs proper tools for CNC drill to operate in automatic mode under program control.

C. Checks and verifies drill results to job documents using standard measurement instruments. Communicates problems or deviations to supervisor for review and resolution.

D. Performs preventive maintenance routines including cleaning, lubrication and tolerance checks, as outlined in the Maintenance and Calibration manuals.

E. Performs weekly Optima dynamic run-out tests, logs results in Calibration Manual and maintains calibration plots for performance monitoring of the drill.

F. Sets-up, loads and operates receptacle installers for installation of all applicable receptacle in the vacuum wells.

G. Inspects and verifies completed vacuum wells to insure receptacle height is as specified in Traveler.

IV. STANDARD MANUFACTURING REQUIREMENTS

LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to communicate with supervisors and employees.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.

REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
