You will help to drive innovation and specialized semi-conductor electrical test product creation as part of a select engineering group. Your responsibilities will range from concept development to prototype roll-out for molded housing assemblies, electro/mechanical contacts and contact performance products. You’ll work closely with our different product divisions both domestically and internationally. This is a dynamic opportunity to play a significant part in maintaining our industry leadership. Moreover, for the right professional, this position also has a specific path to a key leadership position.
The R&D Engineer role is one of ECT’s most critical positions– and it requires a well seasoned MECHANICAL ENGINEERING professional with at least a BSME and a demonstrated record of success in electrical test or a related industry. Threshold requirements include 10 years of powerful mechanical engineering, design experience and excellent facility using solid modeling software....this is not an Electrical Engineering job. The ability to think independently and to see well beyond the immediate task at hand is absolutely essential and strong communication skills are a must. Overall proficiency using MS Office software is necessary as well. Move to the head of the line if you also have project management skills, know RF design, SPC, and have experience using Solid Works.
