Our Texas Instruments support group has an immediate opportunity for a qualified Applications Engineer who has an experience in final semiconductor test.
An engineer in this position will work effectively with both customers and sales personnel to provide tech support to ECT high performance test contactors at various TI facilities.
This is a unique position that requires both strong technical/engineering skills and excellent communication abilities to review project requirements and test specifications and to analyze results. You'll develop alternate processing method models and make recommendations for new procedure implementation. Additionally, you'll coordinate operations, maintenance and repairs to eliminate glitches and to help our customer achieve optimal performance.
You'll use your interpersonal skills as you work closely with customer representatives to identify potential problems and provide efficient service and solutions to production. And, you'll use your creativity and business savvy to develop at least one new customer/application.

At least 2 years semiconductor industry experience and strong technical aptitude/problem-solving ability. Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills along with good working knowledge of all MS Office applications. The ability to diagnose and troubleshoot customer problems at onsite locations and develop customer relationships to identify new business opportunities. BSEE, BSME or equivalent experience required.
